hich has to be rare for a 65 year old bottle, don't you think?!
This is a seven (7) ounce sized bottle, half pint, referred to as a 'split', and dating back to the mid 1900's.

    :   "
    15 / 67-22 / 5 50 / Royal Ruby / Anchorglass
    ".
    Condition
: This bottle is in NICE CLEAN condition.   It has a film of haze on it as it is too hard to scrub off with the labels on it and still capped.   It could be done but we didn't want to risk getting water on any of the original paper labels.  Bottle has NO cracks, chips, dings, damage, etc.  PLEASE see pictures for best idea of the bottle and label's condition!

    INCLUDE
insurance. We have enjoyed shipping our items all over the world and are happy to offer most of our items to international buyers. Yet insuring International parcels is very expensive so PLEASE NOTE; we do
    NOT
insure International orders unless winning buyer specifically requests this and we are able to provide an insurance quote. We do not falsify information on the Customs Form, such as a price other than what the actual purchase price is, so please do not request us to do so. We ship several times a week and send payment acknowledgments and shipping confirmations. Your prompt payment will assure a very quick turn-around time.
    IMPORTANT NOTE:
If our shipping charge is much more than the actual shipping cost, we will refund the excess so what
    YOU
pay for shipping/insurance is very close to, if not exactly, the
    ACTUAL
shipping costs! This is especially important for foreign buyers to know as most of our foreign shipping charges are rough estimates.
You see these EXTREMELY BEAUTIFUL Ruby Red SCHLITZ vintage bottles on occasion, probably a lot more now because before eBay and the internet, you could hardly find one.  They are referred to as
ROYAL RUBY RED ANCHOR GLASS SCHLITZ BEER bottles.  They date pretty clearly from the mid-1950's, as a matter of fact, in researching this bottle we found a quote that states, "
In 1949 the Schlitz Brewing Company contracted Anchor Hocking to manufacture Royal Ruby beer bottles ...
"   So in this reference, the 1950 date is pretty solid, and this example even has a 1950 date printed on the label.    From what we could find, t
    he reason for the
production of these red bottles was the upcoming 100th anniversary of the Schlitz Brewing Company
    .
We've seen these Ruby Red bottles in three different sizes and two different styles, this little split and then a squat shaped bottle both in the 12 oz. and 32 oz size.   One reference mentions that these bottles were never intended to be filled, but were made as display bottles only, I am not sure.   Anyway, these are truly beautiful bottles and in a true deep
    OX - BLOOD RED
color.   Rumor has it that the red glass was produced by adding GOLD into the batch of liquid molten glass and if that's the case, there truly is GOLD in this here bottle!
